High colour and low fat
Rogaland’s natural network of deep fjords allows us to engage in deep water fish farming. The deep sites ensure a constant temperature that can be maintained all year round. These optimum conditions have enabled us to grow fish of outstanding quality with high colour and low fat content.
Our farms are closer to the UK and European markets than any other region in Norway, and as such enables us to deliver the freshest and finest tasting salmon to our customers.
The value chain is fully integrated in Grieg Seafood Rogaland (GSFR) from roe to harvest in the same region.
In recent years, GSFR has made substantial investments in recycling technology and efficiency upgrades on the fish farms. We have unique traceability and transparent biological safety throughout the production cycle – essential in order to meet the farming industry’s future challenges.
